If You Want To Know A Little More
I am a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College. I was Director of Continuing Education & Community Programs at Itasca Community College for 28 years. Once upon a time I studied in Sweden, my husband and I owned a toy store, I managed a winter community festival, I coordinated volunteers and adult programs at Grand Rapids Area Library for 10 years and have lots of organizational, volunteer and leadership experience. The best work of my life was helping my husband raise 4 kids who have become successful adults and are now parenting our 7 charming grandchildren! I am a northern Minnesota native and still enjoy living in a place with four seasons, woods, and freshwater lakes. When I’m not coaching, I love flower gardening, sewing, boating, and entertaining friends and family.
